Robb Ross Foods wants you to consider trying some of these great new recipes. It’s one way to add some excitement for your customers and the only limit is your imagination. Get started and try the fun recipes below.

Chocolate Mousse

  • Milk 1lb 12oz (STAGE 1)
  • Sugar 12oz
  • Bring to boil
  • Milk 8oz (STAGE 2)
  • Gelatin 2 1/2oz
  • Mix together
  • Add to STAGE 1 and boil
  • Dark Chocolate 3lb (STAGE 3)
  • Add to STAGE 2, mix, turn heat off
  • Milk 3lb 12oz (STAGE 4)
  • Add to STAGE 3 and cool
  • Whip gallon of cream to soft peak and fold
  • In STAGE 4 Mousse is ready to use

Classic mousse cake flavors like Chocolate, Lemon, Strawberry and Raspberry are always winners. Add a little adventure to your display case this summer and try new flavors like Guava, Key Lime or Mango.

Strawberry Pizza

Strawberry Pizza

Short Dough Recipe (tart shell)

  • Margarine or Butter 1lb 8oz
  • A/P Shortening 1lb 8oz
  • Powder Sugar 2lb 8oz
  • Cream well 2-3 minutes on medium speed
  • Whole Eggs 1lb 12oz
  • Vanilla or Butter Emul 1/2oz
  • Add until incorporated, scrape sides of bowl
  • Pastry Flour 5lb 8oz
  • Baking Powder 3/4oz
  • Mix to incorporate. Chill for 2-3 hours. Roll.
  • Fill with GS Cream Cheese Filling and top with Fresh strawberries.

Don’t forget the Reflection Glaze, Strawberry Glaze or top with FFI Whole Strawberry Topping. Strawberry Pizzas look great and taste better. Try mini– or full-size pies.
